A Journey from the Navy to the Kitchen

A Journey from the Navy to the Kitchen
After serving in the Navy, I was ready for something new. I took up college softball, which gave me the chance to travel and experience food from all over. What stuck with me the most wasn’t just the meals—it was the small, family-run diners that poured heart into their cooking. That’s when I knew I wanted to open my own place, bringing my own twist to classic American food.

The Heart of I Don't Know Diner

The Heart of I Don't Know Diner
For the past 12 years, I Don't Know Diner has been more than just a restaurant—it’s been a place for good food and good company. Located in Levelland, TX, we serve homemade American favorites, from crispy refried steak to fresh catfish. We also have an ice cream shop, making us a go-to spot for a quick treat or a full meal. Everything we serve is made fresh daily with local ingredients—no shortcuts, no mass-produced supplies.

Fresh Ingredients, Real Flavor

Fresh Ingredients, Real Flavor
We believe that great food starts with great ingredients. That’s why we don’t rely on big suppliers—we source everything locally. Our chef, who’s completing a two-and-a-half-year culinary program, puts care into every dish. Whether you’re here for a hot meal or just stopping by for a scoop of ice cream, you’re getting something made with real, fresh ingredients.

A Place for Locals and Visitors Alike

A Place for Locals and Visitors Alike
Our town may be small, but we see a lot of visitors. People travel from nearby towns and schools, often driving 11 to 12 miles just to stop in. We take pride in being a spot where travelers can grab a meal and locals can feel right at home. Whether you're a regular or just passing through, we’re always happy to serve you.
